This week, we played Quiddich. We learned as much as we could about this sport last week, and we tried to test out our skills. We started as being the beater, and tried to hit a volleyball into a hula hoop that we held up. I was decent at this, but Hunter had some trouble starting out. It is a lot harder than either of us had ever imagined it to be. After we tried that position, we tried being the seeker. With this position, we had to somewhat improvise because we did not have anything that would be moving to put the tennis ball on. In real quiddich it is on the official, and the official is moving throughout the game. We just decided to throw the tennis ball and see if the other person could track it down and catch it. This part had some ups and downs, Hunter was better at this than I was. I could not hold on to the ball and catch it. Hunter was good at it, but he did trip one time. Overall, we thought this would be a fairly easy game. When we got to it though we realized that it was not. Especially, considering we didn't even have a defense going against us like they do in the usual game. During this attempt, we used a broom, a hula hoop, a tennis ball, a volleyball, and a baseball bat. We filmed multiple videos that will be in the Gallery at some point.
